The Träwelling Team paid all expenses out of their own pockets until now. After our association was founded in spring 2026, we are now able to accept financial contributions to help cover our costs. TL;DR: Our costs currently amount to just under 36 euros per month.

Server 🔗

We currently have two virtual servers. One server is primarily responsible for hosting traewelling.de and traewelling.org. The other server currently serves as an administration server. Among other things, it runs: Authentik (SSO), Zammad (ticket system), Paperless (board/association matters), and our Grafana is also planned there.

Costs (Server 1): 16,10 € per month

Costs (Server 2): 11,94 € per month

We would like to expand the resources of the hosting server as soon as the association’s regular finances allow it.

Backups 🔗

We store our backups in another data center at Hetzner.

Costs: 3,81 € per month

Monitoring 🔗

Our Grafana dashboard currently runs on a private server that is “already” used for Grafana, so we are currently not accounting for any direct costs here. It is planned to move the monitoring to a separate association server and possibly also set up a public dashboard.
